Hopefully a hundred more times, what a special thing. Let’s not let that pass without marking the moment of like ‘holy sh*t, we’re standing in the English Football League now. We’re in the English f*cking Football League now!” McElhenney chipped in with: “We’re back.”

Reynolds and McElhenney have helped to make the funds available that have allowed Wrexham to wrap up back-to-back promotions – through personal wealth and smart commercial deals – and more money will be required if Phil Parkinson’s side are to compete in League One and continue on their journey towards the ultimate end goal of one day reaching the Premier League.
