Leeds have two massive games coming up this week.
Indeed, the Whites have to endure away trips against two genuine promotion contenders in the shape of Nottingham Forest and Brentford, and these games couldn’t have come at a worse possible time.
The Yorkshire club are in poor form, winning just two of their last nine league games, and their misery could be compiled over the next few days.
One man who thinks Leeds won’t have much success over the coming week is Phil Hay. He’s put his neck on the line by predicting Brentford to beat Marcelo Bielsa’s side.

What’s been said then?
The Athletic’s Leeds United correspondent was speaking on the latest edition of The Phil Hay Show, and he was asked his thoughts on how Leeds would get on in their next two fixtures.
“If I had to put my mortgage on anything it’d be Brentford. You know, history tells you go for a home win. The way they play against Leeds and the surroundings at Griffin Park just never seem to be good, no matter who the manager is or whichever players are in the team, it just always seems to be a problem at Brentford.”
Bad omens
To be fair to Hay, he’s right about there being plenty of bad omens ahead of Leeds’ visit to Griffin Park.
The Whites haven’t won an away game against Brentford since 1950, and their recent record in London hints that they won’t get on too well next Tuesday either.
Leeds had won just one of their last trips to the capital ahead of their game against QPR last month, and their poor record was extended at Loftus Road, losing 1-0 to Mark Warburton’s side.
It’s a strange hoodoo, one which Bielsa’s men will have to find a way to negotiate.
In other news, Leeds may miss Phillips and Forshaw more than ever on Saturday.
