Tottenham striker Louis Saha has stated that his side can still finish in third place in the Premier League, despite being overtaken by Arsenal recently.
The White Hart Lane outfit have had a difficult run of fixtures, and two points from five games has seen their north London rivals leapfrog them in the standings.
Despite a three-point gap between the teams, Saha feels that the race for third is not yet over.
“It is football, with lots of paradox and things can quickly change,” the French attacker told Sky Sports.
“Arsenal have had a run so they are confident. They are in the front seat, they are in a good position but it doesn’t mean we cannot do the same.
“We have shown consistency during the season. We may have dropped a few points during the past weeks but we have shown that we have closed the gap in terms of our performances,” he continued.
Saha joined Harry Redknapp’s side from Everton in the January transfer window, and has admitted to enjoying life at his new club.
“It’s been brilliant because this is a great club and I like the way we play. It’s just a joy to play in a team like this and obviously scoring goals is something I love,” he concluded.
